Coursera is one of the American Mooc(massive open online course) provider, there are over 1000 free online courses to study. You can access lectures from the superficial universities or companies. You can get a certification after your course ends, You also can study for your degree. It would be helpful for getting the job opportunity! Looking around the courses, and choose whatever you want!
Ted
Ted is amazing! We can access a lot of wonderful resources from this. All of the lecturers has different educational and cultural background, we can learn from them a lot. It is quite cooool! In this official webpage, you can find the transcript and subtitles. If you are not good at English, you can study from your mother tounge at first and study again by English! There are some live lectures and animations(it would stimulate your curiosity!), You also can choose your interests, They will recommend wonderful lectures to feed your knowlege! Have an amazing time with TED ! :)
Open textbook library
You can access over 800 open textbooks in here. It is one of the OER(open educational resources), It makes you spend less money to buy the textbook. As a student, paying for learning material is meaningful but I also understand it's hard to buy sometimes. There are many kinds of textbooks, including sociology, pyschology, engineering and computer science, etc. It would be helpful for you, who wants to find access-free learning material ! :) Enjoy your studying!
Kanopy
Kanopy is one of the free video platform, you can use your university or public library account to login. There are thousands of videos, various types of topics ; British cinema, The criterion connection, Food resilience and Science documentary etc. You can given the recommendation based on your pre-watched videos. It is also interesting, you can broaden your perspective and make links with what you've already learnt. It's super coool! You can access high-quality videos for free :)
Endnote
Sometimes, you are struggling with not only reading your learning materials but also organizing those. Here's the answer how to do! I usually use the Endnote for handling my references. You can create your own bibliography and references. You also can make a bookmark in your material, it helps you keeping track on your reading. You don't need to be feel lost while reading if you can use the Endnote! :) Let's make your own record in studying and Keep going!
Padlet
By using padlet, you can post your own notes! It is also a free tool to use, You can make your own class or portfolio in here. I'll also recommend to make the posts about your learning material. You can organize your ideas or thoughts and can find the concept of your essay. It's really helpful to brainstorming your idea in here, then reorganize it. Hope it will help you! :)
Mentimeter
If you want to do 'interactive' activity in your studying, you can use the Mentimeter. It helps you to make an active presentation and creative materials in your learning! You can use this while you're doing group work presentation. Or I'll recommend to you if you want to make some creative things for icebreaking. You can make polls, presentation and quizzes! Also you can follow-up your results what you did! Visualizing what you want, Be creative in here ! :)
Kahoot
If you are an educator, it could be a great tool to take attention from learners. You can make a board game with contents whatever you want, and learners can making a group to participate the game. They can compete, and we can give small gifts for winners. I was participated the Kahoot game three times in class, it was really cool to review what I've learned by using games! Because it was interesting, I memorized my knowledge well. It would the learning atmosphere more active and cool!
Coggle
It's my lovely tool to make links with my idea and references. Because I need to read a lot of materials and reorganize these for writing essay. For me, finding the 'link' between my idea and what I've learned is the most important issue. Coggle is really useful for me, to make a link whatever I want. I always succeed to express what I want to say, with links by using coggle.
Pomodoro timer
It's quite hard to concentrate for long hour in one time. Yeah, and there are so many things to do. If you feel same as me, I recommend the Pomodoro timer. It's one of the time management skills that let you concentrate deeply. You can study every 25 minutes, and then take a rest for 5 minutes. It's really helpful to study effectively, because it makes our brain keep regular tension.
Pura rasa
This is one of my favourite meditation channel in youtube. For studying, especially in online, you must need to be routined. I have meditation in every morning and evening for concentrate my consciousness and relieve stress. I can confirm that meditating yourself is totally helpful for your body and mind to be relaxed. Make the best condition for study! :)
